The stay was pretty enjoyable overall. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the lovely view we had from our standard twin room. The check-in and check-out process was straightforward, thanks to the door code system. One downside was the noise from the main road outside, which made it hard to fully relax. I also wished there were more space for toiletries in the bathroom, but the shower was fantastic and had strong water flow.

I woudl have given this place a good review, but unfortunatley my room was small, narrow bed, and I had to deal with a leaky shower. Plus, where was my room upgrade? I mean, don’t I deserve a little special treatment? The car park view also wasn’t exactly what I had in mind for mountain scenery.

Positive, The lake view from our triple room was stunning. The room was bright, clean, and had a good ensuite. We loved the on-site bar and restaurant, where dinner was excellent. Also, free coffee and tea downstairs was a nice touch! 😊

The sitting area on the main level was a lovely spot to relax.
I found the bathroom in our room quite cramped, and the shower setup left the floor soaked after each use. We decided to use the showers at Laugarvatn Fontana instead as a workaround. It was also a bit frustrating that the restaurant was closed for dinner during our stay, which forced us to find dining options elsewhere.
